About Us

The Old Ram Coaching Inn is a listed inn dating back to the 17th Century - documents reveal that it has been a coaching inn for most of its life. The inn has recently been sympathetically refurbished - inside exposed brick work and the original beams can still be seen and there is a real log fire in the main bar. Our hotel accommodation consists of 11 guest rooms, all of which have private bathrooms, and there are some suites and a four poster bed. Rooms all have hairdryers, a trouser press, tea and coffee-making facilities and Sky TV. We also have a fully equipped conference room with special delegate rates and ample car parking space is available.

Function Rooms

The Old Ram offers a function room holding a maximum of 50 guests for a buffet. If you would like more details regarding hiring our function room, or would just like to take a look, please give us a call to discuss your needs. The Old Ram also offers a meeting room, holding a maximum of 35 guests. 'Thai Style' Cromer Crab Cake

Famous Cromer Crab, bound with rice, chillies, coriander, fresh ginger and spring onion, deep fried and served with chilli sauce and a wedge of lime.
Pan Fried Black Pudding

Pancetta crisp, home made tomato chutney and soft poached egg.
Trio of Clarkes Farm Sausages

3 delicious sausages, served with bacon and parsley mash and onion gravy.
Jumbo Fillet of Line Caught Cod in Home Made Beer Batter

The real deal of Fish and Chips, served with chefs' tartare sauce.
Pot Roast Pheasant in Adnams Ale

Locally shot and slow cooked Pheasant then served with braised savoy cabbage and bacon, fondant potatoes and Adnams Ale gravy.
Classic Sticky Toffee Pudding

Served with Vanilla ice cream.
Lemon Meringue Roulade

Filled with fresh cream and our own Lemon Curd.
